It's been a long been a long time since my last post and I would like to take the time to personally apologize to all my faithful readers.
I promise in the fall my story will continue.
Since my last post I had just started a new contracting job on Dec 1st and life has been a whirlwind ever since. That contracting job turned into a full time position on May 8th and I've been extremely busy proving myself at a new company. Being the new guy is never easy and starting from the ground up has been a lot of hard work but I'm so grateful for the opportunity, the steady check and benefits.
With that said, the amount of training that I actually wanted to do this year could not be brought into a reality. However, I was able to secure the time to go to the 17th FINA World Masters Championships Budapest. I am so very fortunate to compete in such a special, special event.
I am 50% Hungarian so getting to be the first Hungarian American person in my family to go back to Hungary is a great honor. It's unfortunate I don't know the language but I've learned a few words and I'll try my best.
Please join me in counting down to this great event! Wish me luck!
Egészségedre!
